About MedCo Abroad
Healthcare beyond borders. MedCo Abroad helps patients who face long waits or high private costs at home get treated sooner, at accredited hospitals abroad, without losing the reassurance of having someone in their corner.
What we do
We are a treatment facilitator. We don't run hospitals and we don't give medical advice. What we do is remove the friction: we collect your reports, obtain consultant opinions and fixed all-inclusive quotes from partner hospitals, arrange your medical visa letter, flights, accommodation and transfers, stay in touch throughout your stay, and make sure your own doctor gets a proper summary afterwards.
How we choose hospitals
- International accreditation (JCI, NABH or equivalent) and a dedicated international patient department
- Consultants with verifiable qualifications and volumes in the procedures we refer
- Package terms agreed in writing, so the price you accept is the price you pay
- Willingness to share outcome and infection data with our patients
How we make money
Partner hospitals pay us a referral fee for each patient we bring. It's the same for every hospital, so we have no reason to steer you towards one over another, and it never increases your price. Where we add planning and concierge services, those are shown as a separate line on your quote.

Our founding team comes from international student placement, where we spent years helping people make big decisions in unfamiliar countries — the same skills, applied to healthcare.
