Terms of use
Version 1.0 · Effective 15 September 2026 · MedCo Abroad is a trading name of Advargo Limited
Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of our website and portals and the facilitation services we provide. By submitting an enquiry, creating a portal account or accepting a quote you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Parties and definitions
"We", "us", "MedCo" means Advargo Limited (trading as "MedCo Abroad"), a company registered in England and Wales, registered office 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, England, WC1N 3AX, with a branch office at Plot no 105, Prashanthi Nagar, Kukatpally, Hyderabad 500072, Telangana, India. "You" means the person enquiring about or receiving treatment, or their authorised representative. "Provider" means any hospital, clinic, doctor or other healthcare professional that provides treatment. "Services" means our facilitation services described in clause 2. "Quote" means the written itemised quotation we issue to you. "Package" means the treatment services a Provider agrees to deliver at the price stated in the Quote.
2. What we do — and what we don't
2.1 We are a treatment facilitator. Our Services are: collecting and forwarding your information to Providers you select; obtaining Providers' opinions and quotes; preparing an itemised Quote; arranging visa invitation letters, travel, accommodation, transfers and related logistics; coordinating communication between you and the Provider; and providing a patient portal.
2.2 We are not a healthcare provider. We do not employ the Providers, do not supervise clinical care, and do not give medical advice. Nothing on our website, in our portals, from our staff or from our AI assistant constitutes medical advice, diagnosis or a recommendation that any treatment is suitable for you. The decision whether to treat, and how, is made solely by the Provider after their own assessment. You should consult your own doctor before making any decision.
2.3 Your contract for medical treatment is directly with the Provider, subject to the Provider's terms and the law of the country where treatment takes place. We are not a party to that contract.
3. Enquiries, accounts and portals
3.1 You must be 18 or over, or the parent/guardian of the patient. 3.2 You must provide accurate, complete and current information and tell us promptly of any change. 3.3 You are responsible for keeping portal credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. 3.4 We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of these terms or to attempt unauthorised access. All portal activity is logged.
4. Information and prices on our website
4.1 Prices shown on the website are indicative ranges based on partner hospital price lists and are not offers. 4.2 Content is provided for general information only and may be out of date; we make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but give no warranty. 4.3 Currency conversions shown are approximate.
5. Quotes and packages
5.1 A Quote is issued after a Provider has reviewed your information. It itemises the Provider's Package price and any travel, accommodation, transfer, visa, insurance and MedCo service fees, and states its validity period and currency. 5.2 A Quote becomes binding when you accept it in the portal or in writing and pay any deposit stated. 5.3 The Package price is fixed unless, on in-person assessment, the Provider determines that a different or additional treatment is clinically necessary. In that case we will inform you in writing of the change and cost before treatment proceeds and you may decline. 5.4 Third-party items (flights, hotels, insurance) are subject to the supplier's terms; we act as your agent in booking them. 5.5 The Package inclusions are those listed in the Quote. Anything not listed (for example extended stay due to complications, additional tests, upgraded implants) is charged by the Provider at its published rates.
6. Payment
6.1 All invoices are issued by Advargo Limited. 6.2 No payment is taken at enquiry. A deposit (stated in the Quote) is due on acceptance; the balance is due by the date in the Quote, normally before travel. 6.3 Payment may be made by bank transfer or card through our payment provider. Bank charges and currency conversion costs are yours. 6.4 We hold amounts due to the Provider and pay them on your behalf, or the Provider may invoice you directly, as stated in the Quote.
7. Cancellation and refunds
7.1 Because our Services begin as soon as you accept a Quote (obtaining bookings, letters and confirmations), you request that we start within the 14-day cancellation period that applies to distance contracts under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and you acknowledge that if you cancel you will pay a proportionate amount for Services already performed and any non-refundable third-party costs incurred. 7.2 Otherwise cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Your responsibilities
- Obtain and hold a valid passport, visa, travel insurance and, where offered, complications cover.
- Disclose your full medical history, medications and allergies accurately to us and the Provider.
- Follow the Provider's pre- and post-treatment instructions and attend follow-up appointments.
- Comply with the laws of the destination country.
9. Liability
9.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be excluded by law. 9.2 We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any Provider or third-party supplier, for clinical outcomes, or for any complication arising from treatment. 9.3 We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control (including travel disruption, visa refusal, epidemics, or changes in law). 9.4 Subject to 9.1, our total liability to you in connection with the Services is limited to the MedCo service fees you have paid to us under the relevant Quote. 9.5 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of earnings, or loss of opportunity. 9.6 These limits reflect that the Provider carries professional liability for treatment and that you are advised to hold insurance.
10. Complaints
Complaints about our Services should be sent to care@medcoabroad.com; we acknowledge within 2 working days and respond within 14 days. Complaints about clinical care should be raised with the Provider under its complaints procedure; we will help you do so. Consumers in the UK may also use alternative dispute resolution; we will tell you of any scheme we are a member of.
11. Intellectual property and acceptable use
The website, portals and content are owned by or licensed to us. You may use them only for their intended purpose and must not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or attempt to access other users' data. Partner hospital users may access only cases assigned to them.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your personal and health data and forms part of these terms.
13. General
13.1 These terms are the whole agreement between you and us for the Services. 13.2 If any clause is unenforceable the rest continues. 13.3 We may update these terms; the version in force when you accept a Quote applies to that Quote. 13.4 We may assign our rights to a successor of the business. 13.5 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere you also benefit from any mandatory protections of your home country, and you may bring proceedings in your home courts or in England and Wales.
